“SHIMMER (Filing)” transforms office supplies into a fragile, shimmering structure. Steel finishing strips from document folders and brass paper fasteners from mailing envelopes, repurposed poetically, become the building blocks of a delicate wall work. The work questions the value systems of labour and art by transforming tools of bureaucracy into an aesthetic composition. Beauty and meaning emerge from what is overlooked – as a quiet, slightly anarchic form of resistance within the rigid order of everyday bureaucracy.
